I’ve notice under the account section, you can now share your information with an insurance company.

Currently it seems Iris will only provide your basic information like name, address, phone number, policy number and the date which Iris was installed.

I’m wondering are you willing to provide more personal information to lower the insurance further. For example let’s say one day Iris can provide data that you lock your home every night and turn on your alarm 98% of the time. This means your more secure then other homes in your area and you get a deeper discount. Then again it can go the other way too and have a higher rate if you never lock your doors.

I can see how this can help influence a person’s behavior for the better, but wondering is the exchange of personal information really worth it?

Just like to see what your thoughts about on this, and can we even go further then the example I’ve provided?
