Just letting everyone know that the App version 1.9.0 is available today on the iPhone while Android was released just two days ago on May 27.
Just wondering has anybody notice any changes or difference to the app?

Yes, in the previous android app version I needed to reset the app after turning the alarm on so the “spinning wait” to go away. Now the app seems to doing that correctly now and that is great because resetting the app was a pain. The thermostat has a new slider that is more like the one on the web page. So the app definitely seems to be getting better. 🙂
iOS version: Aside from totally blowing out any customizations I had done with the widgets (no biggie), the temp slider looks like the website’s now. In auto mode you get two of these sliders (red and blue) with a 3 degree dead band in presence mode and 0 in schedule mode. The old auto mode was not as useful. Cool.
Another note: since the previous update (not this one) it seems the data refreshes for the whole app now instead of by widget. The former was aggravating. Better now.
Oh one other thing. If you click the info badge in the lower right hand corner it tells you the humidity. Don’t remember that being there before. May be wrong.
after the update, my thermostat keeps going problem saving changes! and then it doesn’t work. works online, but not on the app.
Also, anyone have more issues of devices disconnecting after the hub update? it was fine for me before the update, now i get a few disconnects from devices daily.
Just went to check thermostat and it’s working for me.
After my hub upgrade my smoke/co disconnected once in the middle of the night and reconnected right away but haven’t had anything else disconnect since.
hmm, let me manually remove it and reconnect. i can turn the thermostat off and on, but still get the error when trying to change the temp, already reinstalled the app.
Yep, I am having the same exact problem. Seems have been working earlier this week but now it will not let me change the thermostat “cool to” setting up or down. It says “Saving changes” then “Problem saving changes.” Did not have this in previous versions oh well guess that will be fixed in version 1.9.1. Thanks Lowes!!!
