Iris by Lowe’s recently released three short videos in the “Iris Can” play list under their youtube channel. All three videos have a theme about two couples in bed where Iris was there to assist in a comical way.
Even though the videos were a chuckle to watch they were however situations I couldn’t relate to as an owner of the system, or even share them with friends over social media. Let me know what you think?

I can somewhat relate to the “goodnight” video. My wife has a smart button by the bed. Pressing it turns off every light in the house, locks the doors, sets the alarm to partial, etc…
It’s not practical to turn off a TV with iris at this time as demonstrated in “smarter home security”, as most modern TVs will not operate as expected when on a smart switch (When you turn the smart switch on, the TV does not turn back on). I can, however, do this with alexa and my harmony hub.
As far as the “water the dog” video, I’m sure this was meant to be mostly humorous… I can’t imagine people would go to this trouble. If you can’t pay your pet enough attention to keep water and food in their bowls you need to find a new home for them.
